Dogtown Skateboards are the original Venice Beach skate crew. The Dogtown logo was first written by C.R. Stecyk III back in 1976 and found its way onto Dogtown Skateboards soon after. The legendary graphics also included the artwork of Wes Humpston and Jim Muir. Jim's brother Mike formed Suicidal Tendencies, who have had a long affiliation with Dogtown.
